About this card

Mox Opal is a mythic rare artifact from Scars of Mirrodin that produces any color of mana when you control three or more artifacts. It's a staple in Modern format artifact-based decks and was banned in Modern from January 2020 until present, significantly impacting its competitive play value. Despite the ban, it remains highly playable in Commander, Legacy, and Vintage formats.

Hold for long-term Commander and casual format demand. The Modern ban limits upside, but the card maintains strong baseline value due to its iconic Mox name, Masterpiece and Kaladesh Inventions premium versions, and eternal format playability. Gradable Near Mint copies have premium appeal to collectors.
