Plateau
1993 Revised Edition
Plateau is a Revised Edition dual land that taps for either Red or White mana, entering the battlefield untapped with no drawbacks beyond the basic land type vulnerability. As one of the ten original dual lands, it is a cornerstone of Legacy and Vintage formats, though it is considered one of the less sought-after duals due to the relative weakness of the Boros color combination in eternal formats. Graded PSA 9 copies remain desirable collector pieces given the notoriously poor centering and print quality of Revised Edition cards.
Hold to slight sell — Plateau is the weakest of the Revised dual lands by demand, and PSA 9 copies have seen mild softening as Legacy's player base contracts; better value may be found in stabler duals like Volcanic Island or Underground Sea. The red-white dual is the most undervalued in the cycle — Legacy play is narrower than the blue duals but Vintage demand and collector demand remain strong. Revised copies trade at a meaningful discount to Underground Sea and Volcanic Island making Plateau one of the best relative value buys in the dual land market right now. Alpha and Beta copies in high grades are exceptionally scarce.
