Taiga is a coveted Revised-era dual land from the Beta set, producing both Mountain and Forest mana without entering tapped. Beta cards are distinguished by their rounded corners and slightly darker borders compared to later printings, making high-grade copies exceptionally rare. As one of the original dual lands, Taiga sees play across Legacy and Vintage formats.
The Card Official's ruling
Hold to Buy — Beta dual lands in PSA 9 represent the intersection of Reserved List scarcity and premium set prestige; demand remains strong with very limited supply entering the market. The red-green dual is Legacy playable in Zoo and Lands strategies and sees occasional Vintage play. Among the more affordable duals in Revised making it a sensible entry point for collectors starting their dual land holdings. Alpha and Beta copies in high grades are scarce. The full cycle is the goal for serious MTG collectors — Taiga is one of the easier pieces to acquire.
