Scrubland
1993 Beta
Scrubland is a White/Black dual land from the Beta set, part of the iconic cycle of original dual lands that tap for two colors without penalty. Beta cards are distinguished from Alpha by their square corners and slightly different card back, and are among the most sought-after printings in all of Magic: The Gathering. As one of the less popular color combinations among the dual lands, Scrubland typically commands a modest discount compared to Bayou or Tropical Island but remains a premier collectible.
Hold to Buy — Beta dual lands in PSA 9 continue to appreciate steadily as population reports remain tight and vintage MTG demand holds strong among collectors. The white-black dual sees Legacy play in Stoneblade, Humans, and various control strategies. Revised copies sit in the mid-tier of dual land pricing — more affordable than the blue duals but with the same long-term scarcity dynamics. Alpha and Beta PSA graded copies rarely surface. A solid portfolio addition for collectors building out the full cycle.
