Plateau is one of the ten original dual lands from Beta, tapping for both Red and White mana without entering the battlefield tapped. As the least played of the ten dual lands competitively, it carries a lower price point than Underground Sea or Bayou, but remains a highly sought-after Reserved List staple. Beta copies are distinguished by their rounded corners and darker card stock compared to Unlimited printings.
Hold to Buy — Plateau is the most affordable Beta dual land, making it an accessible entry point into Beta power collecting; Reserved List protection ensures no reprint risk and long-term appreciation is likely. The red-white dual is the most undervalued in the cycle — Legacy play is narrower than the blue duals but Vintage demand and collector demand remain strong. Revised copies trade at a meaningful discount to Underground Sea and Volcanic Island making Plateau one of the best relative value buys in the dual land market right now. Alpha and Beta copies in high grades are exceptionally scarce.
