Volcanic Island is one of the ten original dual lands from Magic: The Gathering's Alpha Edition, producing both Island and Mountain mana. It is a cornerstone of Legacy and Vintage formats, and the Alpha printing is among the most coveted versions due to its extreme rarity and rounded corners. PSA 9 examples are extraordinarily scarce given Alpha's notoriously poor print and handling quality.
Strong HOLD or BUY — The premier blue-red dual and a cornerstone of Legacy's most competitive decks including UR Murktide and Delver variants. Alpha and Beta copies command premium prices in any grade. Revised copies are liquid and actively traded — easier to move than most duals. Strong buy at any grade. One of the safest long-term holds in the entire MTG market.
